Working in forensic mental health support ignited my passion for helping others and solidified my path towards becoming a counsellor.

I bring a unique and enriched perspective to counselling, drawing from my diverse cultural background, personal experiences, and extensive work in the non-profit and social services sector. With a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating life’s challenges.

My practice specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and major life transitions, including the shift into adulthood and evolving family dynamics. I recognize that our identities and personal narratives are shaped by lived experiences—challenges, traumas, and milestones that influence our resilience and self-perception. By exploring these influences, we can foster personal growth and meaningful transformation.

I am passionate about helping my clients build self-awareness, recognize their inner strengths, and develop effective coping strategies. Together, we will explore how past experiences continue to shape your present, working collaboratively to cultivate resilience, uncover joy, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

As a mother of two young children and the eldest child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of balancing cultural expectations, familial responsibilities, and personal aspirations. These experiences have deepened my empathy and reinforced the importance of adaptability, self-compassion, and finding a sense of belonging within one’s identity.

In our sessions, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. My approach integrates trauma-informed care, using an emotion focused therapy framework (EFT), drawing upon person-centered therapy, and attachment-based interventions, ensuring that our work together is tailored to your unique needs.

Whether you are facing mental health challenges, cultural identity concerns, or significant life transitions, I am here to support you. My goal is to empower you to embrace your multifaceted identity, challenge limiting narratives, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Let’s embark on this journey together—where your well-being, resilience, and personal growth remain at the heart of our work.

I prioritize fostering a strong connection with my clients to provide effective support. This connection enables us to collaborate more effectively, leading to meaningful insights and sustainable growth in your therapeutic journey.
