What to Expect When Working With Your Counsellor

Starting counselling with Nav begins with getting to know you, understanding what has brought you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to gain from the experience.

Nav takes a collaborative, non-judgmental approach, creating space for you to share your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable. Drawing on his background in education and his training in EMDR and Brainspotting, he considers each person’s individual needs when developing a therapeutic approach.

Depending on your concerns and goals, sessions may involve exploring emotional responses, understanding patterns, strengthening coping skills, or processing difficult experiences through appropriate therapeutic techniques.
