What to Expect When Working With Your Counsellor
Counselling with Mansi begins with understanding your experiences, concerns, and goals in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Mansi recognizes that children, youth, and adults communicate and process experiences in different ways. She adapts her approach to each person’s developmental stage, preferences, and needs, creating opportunities for meaningful connection and personal growth.
For children and youth, sessions may include therapeutic play, storytelling, creative activities, and practical emotional regulation strategies. Mansi also considers the importance of family relationships, school experiences, and the broader environment in supporting a young person’s well-being.
For adults, counselling may involve exploring emotional patterns, strengthening coping strategies, developing self-awareness, and navigating relationships or life transitions using evidence-informed therapeutic approaches.
Throughout the process, Mansi emphasizes collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and helping clients feel comfortable, respected, and supported as they work toward their goals.
